Communication Training

Please join Project Present for a communication training to positively enhance the practice of caring for an individual living with Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias.

Through the process of learning improvisation strategies:

      • Individuals will foster generosity, flexibility, and spontaneity
      • Strengthen effective communication skills through active listening
      • Accept other’s reality through a Yes And approach
      • Increase non-verbal communication skills
      • Validate and respect each individual’s integrity
      • Reduce stress and diffuse challenging situations
      • Problem solve through creative thinking
      • Empathize with others
